Erica Davis, born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 12, 1983, graduated from JFK High School in 2001.
Erica chose nursing as her major and attended Jackson State University in Mississippi.
In August 2003, she transferred to Ursuline College as a commuter student.
Erica expects to graduate in May 2006.
"I want to be a nurse because I like helping people, especially in a hospital environment."
Erica has been a mentor in the AIMS (Academic Inspirations for Minority Success) peer mentor program since fall 2004. She stated that being a mentor also gives her the chance to help people and to get involved in school activities. "By being apart of Ursuline AIMS I can help someone else's college experience be positive." Erica is also a member of SUMA (Students United for Minority Awareness), and SNUC (Student Nurses of Ursuline College).

From 2000-2003 Amanda Santiago took classes at Tri-C Community Colleges through the High Tech Academy while attending Jane Addams high school.
By doing this she received college credit making her a sophomore at Ursuline College during her first year in fall 2003.
She was in the AIMS (Academic Inspirations for Minority Success) peer mentoring program as a protégé in 2003.
She became a mentor in 2004 and has been a mentor for almost two years. Her major is graphic arts. She would like to start her own magazine in the future. Amanda was on the 2005 Founder's Day Committee and she is a member of New Covenant Gospel Choir. She believes, "If God brought you to it, he'll bring you through it."
