Ursuline Cross Country competed at the All-Ohio Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University this past Friday. Led by Sophomore sensation Jessica Dingman, the Arrows placed 33rd out of the 45 colleges in attendance.
Jessica ran a time of 20:14.9 over the hilly course, improving her time from last year by 1 minute 48 seconds. Fellow Sophomore Erica Casto was the second to cross the line for Ursuline in a time of 21:52.3 over the 5k course, improving her time from last year by 1 minute 12 seconds.
The hilly course really hit the team hard after a week’s worth of hard workouts. Coach Badway said, "I am glad to see the team improving on the courses we ran last year. We have to remember that we still have a lot of hard work in front of us in order to get where we want to be in November."
The Ursuline College Arrows Cross Country Team will be competing next at Walsh University on October 18th at 11:00am.
